How To Support Jamaica Post Hurricane Melissa

We’re in the recovery and rebuilding mode while several Jamaicans are still simply trying to survive hour by hour and day by day. Category 5 Hurricane Melissa hit us hard.

The Government of Jamaica has set up an official relief support website.

Please don’t be scammed.

And if you are in the diaspora be patient while utilities and telecommunications are restored.

I reconsidered posting my holiday content in November but I feel as if for our young ones, if we can as adults we should make the holidays warm, joyful and happy for children so I will go ahead and post my planned content in November.

This article will be pinned though so you can remember where to support if you can.

And please don’t attempt to visit the island in the coming weeks unless you have specialized skills to aid with recovery.

Together we will rebuild.
